I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Rochester, Department of Political Science. I study comparative political institutions focusing on European Politics.
Technically, I specialize in positive political theory (formal theory) and political methodology.
My dissertation concerns the influence of presidential heads of state on the
outcomes
of government formation and termination processes in European democracies in which the cabinet depends on parliamentary support for its survival.
The primary goals of my research are to provide insights drawn from formal models and to examine empirical evidence for the role of presidential heads of state in these
important democratic processes.
On this site you can find a copy of my curriculum vitae (pdf), data,
and some of my working papers.
