Life of a graduate student
I took a lot of photos wherever I went. The only places I didn't take photos were probably toilets... I look at my photos from time to time and remember the sunshine, the smell, the daydreams, and my fellow travellers with their fascinating stories. Here around NY state, there isn't much to see. Looking at google earth, I realise that there are so many places to visit in California, Washington State, and Oregon. Nothing here. I have a lot of pictures from my laptop - currently it's on sick leave so I cannot get the pictures out. Here are some good pics I've taken:
Ledgeworth park is said to be the Grand Canyon of the east. Waterfalls in the park are the main attractions. Wild flowers grow under the sun or in the thick forests. New York City's Central Park also has some wildlife. Looking from inside the park, one sees buildings with personalities. Last year I went to Toronto in Summer. There was a garden next to a church, where I saw good flowers and an all-black squirrel. Talking about churches, here are some photos from a church. Also, here are some pictures of moors. and lakes and another interesting place.
Here are some flower photos from Utah around the University of Utah. Notice the happy bee in flower bunches in the second photo and juicy mulberry fruits in the last one. (11.16.2007)
I love travel documentaries produced by globetrekker, in particular, my favorite host is Ian Wright. He makes the most ordinary stuff laughable. What's more, a lot of people use dark humor, he uses the opposite - I call it sunshine humor.
Some poems from a long time ago
I went to Siem Riep in March 2006. It was an amzing place. I went to Coromandel in April 2006. I liked the Pa Point, Long Bay, quirky train ride up fern forests in Driving Creek, Tucks Bay. This one is an excellent magazine.
